Original US oversized stills for Clash of the Titans, 1981.
This fantasy adventure film was directed by Desmond Davis and written by Beverley Cross. The film stars Harry Hamlin, Judi Bowker, Burgess Meredith, Maggie Smith and Laurence Olivier, and is broadly based on the Greek myth of Perseus The film features the final work of the legendary special effects creator Ray Harryhausen. Harryhausen created stop motion model animation known as Dynamationvisual, and was a great inspiration to other filmmakers. This piece is also signed by Ray Harryhausen and is from the Andy Johnson Andy collection. Andy Johnson worked with Ray Harryhausen on his archive, and was signed during that time.
