Original 8x10 inches Press Publicity Still for Close Encounters of the Third Kind (1977) starring Jim Belushi, Mel Harris and Kevin Tighe and directed by Steven Spielberg.
Publicity (film/production) stills were created to help studios promote their new films. The stills were included with press kits and available at press screenings and sent to media outlets to advertise the films. These photographs were taken on or off set during production and were instrumental in creating a buzz in the media.
Framed with conservation materials and UV Acrylic glazing. Framed dimensions are 32.5cm x 27.5cm x 1.3cm.
