The shrimp (or Seahorse or Winged Horse), emblem of Air France from 1933 to 1976, is visible in the C of France. The composition of the Company's posters at this time revolves around four elements: The sky, a plane, the nine letters of Air-France and "the shrimp".
Paolo Federico Garretto is an Italian painter, known for his caricatures and posters. He studied architecture and graphics in Rome. He began working as a caricaturist and advertising painter in London and in 1930 in Paris.
