Original French film poster This poster would have been used outside the cinema at the films original release. Goldfinger was the third James Bond film and the third to star Sean Connery as the fictional MI6 agent James Bond. The artwork on this poster is by the French poster designer Jean Mascii (1926-2003) This poster was created for the films first French release in 1965. The film was the first in the series to win an Academy award. Norman Wanstall won the Oscar Best Sound Effects Editing. This poster has been conservation Linen backed and it would be shipped rolled in a strong tube.
