Original Japanese Souvenir program cover for Throne of Blood 1957
This war, drama directed Akira Kurosawa and starring Toshiro Mifune.
The film is a brilliant adaptation of William Shakespeare's Macbeth.
Akira Kurosawa was one of the most celebrated and influential film directors of the 20th century. He is probably best known for invigorating the Japanese tradition of chambara (sword fight) films, highly energetic samurai films structured around sprawling and intensely violent battles.
This piece is conservation paper backed and conservation framed in a Tulip wood frame with card mounts and UV plexiglass. The size given is before framing. It would be shipped boxed and sent out by Federal Express.
