This film, directed by Lee H. Katzin, portrays the famous Le Mans 24 Hour endurance motor race, and stars Steve McQueen. It was shot on location at the Le Mans circuit between June and November 1970.
The great artwork on this piece is unique to the Japanese press sheet cover.
This piece is conservation paper backed and framed in an Obeche wood frame with card mounts and UV plexiglass glass. The size given is before framing the framed size is 17 5/8 x 14 in. (44.7 x 35.5 cm)
