Original antique advertising poster for Hurtu bicycles featuring a great illustration of a fashionably dressed lady wearing a black dress and feathered hat riding a bike against a yellow background below the stylised lettering in red with the black text on the sides - Diligeon et Cie Tubes Renforces Rationnels / Diligeon and Co. rational reinforcement tubes. Hurtu was a division of the French company Diligeon et Cie (1896-1930) that manufactured cars, sewing machines and bicycles. Printed in Paris, circa 1890s-1900s. Large size. Good condition, restored paper loss in corner, restored tear, ink stamp on image, backed on linen.
