Original antique French advertising poster for Cottereau
Cie Dijon featuring Belle Epoque artwork by Misti (Ferdinand Mifliez; 1865-1923) of two ladies in fashionable dresses and hats standing with a bicycle by trees and looking at a couple driving towards them in a classic car with a sun on the horizon. Cottereau
Cie was a French automobile and cycle manufacturer founded by brothers Louis and Henri Cottereau producing bicycles from 1891 and cars from 1898 until 1911 when the company became Constructions Industrielles Dijonaises CID. Printed by P. Vercasson and Co. Large size. Good condition, restored paper losses on image, restored tears on image, staining, browning, some rough edges, backed on linen.
