Original antique London Transport poster announcement: Hendon-Edgware Extension Now Open on the Northern Line of London Underground featuring colourful artwork by Charles Shepard (Shep; 1844-1924) depicting a map of the route of the extension line in relation to the surrounding area, including tube stops from Charing Cross and Moorgate to Golders Green on the border below up to Hendon Colindale Burnt Oak and Edgware with the numbered bus routes and terminals shown as well as images of a windmill and compass point, golf courses, towns and postcodes, roads and rivers within a decorated frame, the bold title with the information text below - There are motorbus routes connecting with the new railway which serve the lanes and woods of Hertfordshire. Printed by Sanders Phillips and Co. Ltd. The Baynard Press. Good condition, creasing, tears, pinholes, folds, staining.
