Original antique World War One poster - Our Day To Help at the Front our wounded from Home
Overseas - issued by The British Red Cross Society
Order of St John for an event on 21 October 1915. Great artwork by Tom Purvis (1888-1959) showing a group of men in different military uniform from the armed forces looking towards the viewer, one with bandages around his head, another wearing a sling and one wearing an eye patch, in front of a medical Red Cross flag with images of doctors by an ambulance and a rescue boat headed towards a ship on the side. Good condition, restored folds, minor staining, backed on linen.
