exceptionally rare and important original Italian film poster for Roberto Rossellini's land mark Italian Neo-Realism film. This film starred Aldo Fabrizi, Anna Magnani and Marcello Pagliero. The art work on this poster is by the great Italian film poster artist Anselmo Ballester (1897-1974) This film is considered one of the most important and representative works of Italian neorealism, and an important stepping stone for Italian filmmaking as a whole. This poster is conservation linen backed. The poster would be shipped rolled in a very strong tube and sent by Federal Express.
