Set of six original vintage World War Two food propaganda posters - From The Open Ground and From Store - featuring different vegetables for every season of the year with the months against a green title background: January-February (leeks, parsnips, savoys, winter cabbage, brussels sprouts, kale, spinach beet From Store beet, carrots, potatoes, onions, shallots, swedes, turnips) in very good condition, restored small tears on margins, backed on linen; March-April (leeks, brussels sprouts, brussels sprouts tops, savoys, turnip tops, spinach beet, spring green, spring cabbages, sprouting broccoli, kale, From Store beet, carrots, onions, turnips, swedes) in good condition, restored minor tears and paper loss on the top left corner, backed on linen; May-June (leeks from heeling-in ground, cabbages, lettuces, spinach, sprouting broccoli, radishes, broad beans, peas, onions for salads From Store onions) in good condition, restored paper loss top right corner, backed on linen; July-August (cabbages, lettuces, dwarf and runner beans, peas, early beet, carrots, spring onions, early turnips, marrows, herbs, tomatoes, early potatoes) in good condition, folded, restored paper loss in the bottom left corner; September-October (cabbage, lettuces, marrows, brussels sprouts, runner beans, tomatoes, beet, carrots, turnips, spinach beet and outside leaves of winter spinach, potatoes for immediate use and for storing when ready) in very good condition, light stains, backed on linen; November-December (cabbages, sprouts, spinach beet, leeks, parsnips, winter cabbages, savoys From Store beet, carrots, potatoes, onions, marrows, shallots, turnips) in good condition, restored paper loss on the bottom left corner, backed on linen.
