Original 8x10 inches Press Publicity Still for Song of the South (1946) starring James Baskett, Ruth Warrick and Bobby Driscoll and directed by Harve Foster and Wilfred Jackson. Publicity (film/production) stills were created to help studios promote their new films. The stills were included with press kits and available at press screenings and sent to media outlets to advertise the films. These photographs were taken on or off set during production and were instrumental in creating a buzz in the media. Framed with conservation materials and UV Acrylic glazing. Framed dimensions are 32.5cm x 27.5cm x 1.3cm. This is an original vintage promotional still from the films' first-year-of-release or a subsequent early re-release and may show signs of light wear/ageing.
