Additional Details:
Children play at low tide on the beach where there is a sailboat/fishing boat. They hold fishing nets in their hands, low tide being conducive to this activity.
Louis Tauzin was a painter of landscapes and seascapes, with a resolutely classical production, but he is best known for his illustrations and his drawings and advertising posters. He was in fact a graduate in industrial design, having attended the École Municipale Bordeaux.
