Original Japanese film poster for the 1988 studio Ghibli animation.
Hayao Miyazaki, one of the founders of Studio Ghibli, wrote and directed this film. Studio Ghibli, which was founded in 1985, has been responsible for making so many magical animations. So popular and loved is Totoro that the studio use it as their mascot / logo.
This poster was created for the Soundtrack tie-in and the art work is unique to this poster.
This poster is in near mint condithion unfolded and conservation linen backed it would be shipped rolled in a very strong tube.
