About the Item
This original studio photograph was sent to Elle Magazine in Paris by Paramount Pictures to promote their leading lady Veronica Lake. It came from the collection of Guy Selz who was a journalist at Elle in 1945 when the magazine was founded. Information about the reproduction scale, etc. can be seen through the perspex window on the reverse of the frame, together with an Elle stamp. The photograph is by A.L 'Whitey' Schafer (1902-1951)
This piece is Framed in a Sapele wood frame with acid free card mounts and UV plexiglass.
The size given is before framing. The framed size is 15 3/4 x 13 3/4 in. (40 x 35 cm)
