Original Italian film poster for Alfred Hitchcock's ‘The Wrong Man’, 1956.
This poster was created by Luigi Martinati (1893-1984) for the film's first Italian release in 1957.
This Hitchcock drama stars Henry Fonda and Vera Miles, and is based on a true story of an innocent man charged with a crime.
There is an Italian 20 lire stamp on the top section of the poster. This was to show that tax had been paid on displaying the poster at the time of the film's release.
The poster is in excellent condition, with the colors remaining very bright. Very minor restoration to folds, and an extremely small tear in the lower border. This piece is conservation Linen backed and would be shipped rolled in a strong tube.
