Aquatint titled "Nutwith, The Winner of the Great St. Leger Stakes at Doncaster, 1843". Owned by S. Wrather, Esquire, and do dedicated by S&J Fuller, publishers, Nov. 1, 1843. Painted by H. Hall engraved by Charles Hunt. Aquatint with hand highlights of great beauty - note the jockey Marson's face horse's colors muscles. Very light toning commensurate with age. Not examined out of the frame. Image: 12.25" x 16 5/8". Sheet by sight: 14.75" x 17.5". Framed: 19 5/8" x 23 5/8".
