About the Item

Pair of pencil signed original woodblock prints "commissioned of Barry Moser by Combustion Engineering in the spring of 1977 as a keepsake for its friends attending the Tenth World Energy Conference, Istanbul, Turkey. (They were) printed by the preeminent American printer, Harold P. McGrath, at the Hampshire Typotheatae in northampton, Massachusetts." One print depicts a portrait of Nasradin Hodja, 13th century Anatolian humorist. The other shows the legendary Tower of Leander in the Bosphorus. Silver and brown gilt frames with floral details; two tone borwn layered mat with gilt inner border. Dimensions: 12.25" x 1.25" x 14.25" / Sans Frame - 7" x 9" (Width x Depth x Height)
