1817 set of 4 fox hunting prints, English. Painted by Dean Wolstenholme printed in 1817 from engravings by Sutherland. Plates 1, 2, 3 4. Good original antique color by hand with truly exceptional detail care in colorings. While many of his fox hunt sets come to market, this is the rarest most desirable. Cleaned framed in London about 40 years ago. Light toning acid burning. The elegant frames have some minor rubbing. Reframed - glass mattes only in Chicago c.2010. Not examined out of the frames.
