"O for Ostler" from "An Alphabet" by William Nicholson from the first edition published by William Heinemann, London, 1898. Original lithograph from the colored woodblock. "Ostler, one who takes care of horses". Nicholson was a famed artist and print maker. Each letter in the series is illustrated brilliantly by a single profession.
