Antique print titled 'Mandians Vacabonds - Autres Mandians'. Two views of so-called 'Mandians,' either residents of the region in Anhui province, or some type of nomadic people. They seem to be distinguished by their shaved heads and long plaits. This print originates from Prevost's 'Histoire Generale des Voyages'. Artists and Engravers: Antoine François Prévost d'Exiles usually known simply as the Abbé Prévost, was a French author and novelist. Condition: Good, general age-related toning. Blank verso.
