Antique frontispiece titled 'Scenes from the Life of Painters of the Flemish and Dutch School'. This print originates from 'Scenes from the Life of Painters of the Flemish and Dutch School / by Madou', representing life scenes of famous artists. Artists and Engravers: Jean Baptiste Madou (1786-1877) was a Belgian painter, etcher and renowned pioneer lithographer. Condition: Good, some age-related toning and foxing. Please study image carefully. Date: 1842 Overall size: 41 x 59 cm. Image size: 29 x 37 cm. Antique prints have long been appreciated for both their aesthetic and investment value.
