Antique print titled 'Marina, et autres femmes donnees a cortez'. This print depicts the Spanish conqueror of Mexico, and some of his soldiers, being presented with the gift of several native virgins somewhere on the Mexican coast. This print originates from 'Histoire Generale des Voyages' by Prevost. Artists and Engravers: Engraved by C. Baquoy after Cochin. Condition: Good, general age-related toning. Some small tears and creasing of the paper, please study image carefully. Date: c.1750 Overall size: 39.5 x 26 cm. Image size: 29 x 20 cm.
