About the Item

A powerful and moving contemporary Judaica lithograph titled “The Mission (Moses)” by Israeli artist Arie Dubi. Hand signed in pencil on the bottom right, with an AP annotation bottom left, and titled mid bottom. Dubi Arie was born in Poland in 1940. He immigrated to Israel in 1948 with Youth Aliyah and joined Kibbutz Shaar Hagolan. He moved with his family to Toronto, Canada in 1974. In the wake of his experiences as a paratrooper in the Six Day War, Arie created “The Mission,” a seven-panel panoramic work commemorating 4,000 years of Jewish history. Arie's wall murals and reliefs can be seen on many buildings in Israel and overseas. From a private collection. Dimensions: 24.5”h x 32”w (framed). In very good condition.
