The engraving is titled in German: "ABRIS DER VICTORIEN VND BEVUD, SO DIE FREYHAIDVCKEN BEI TOLNA, ERLANGT V. ERÖBERT HABEN. ANO: 1599. DEN 23 JUNII." This translates to "Illustration of the victories and the battles that the Freihaiducken (Hajduks) at Tolna achieved and conquered. Year: 1599. June 23." The image is an antique engraving depicting a historical battle from a book about Turkish wars that holds 29 engravings of European fortresses from anti-Turkish wars. Published by Paulus Fürst ( 1608-1666 ) Print publisher in Nuremberg. Germany; firm continued after his death in 1666 by his widow and heirs until 1704. From 1636 worked in Nuremberg for the printers and publishers Paulus Fürst, Johann Hoffmann, and David Funck. Died after 1671. Good condition. It shows signs of age and minor wear due to handling but remains in good condition overall, with clear illustrations and legible annotations. Left and right margins cut short. Two tiny holes in the image. Study the image carefully.
