About the Item
For your consideration is beautiful signed limited-edition lithograph titled Arbes en Fleurs, with an annotation of E.A. 17/25, by French artist Bernard Gantner.
Dimensions: 24.25 H x 30 W (framed). In excellent.
Gantner (1928-) is a French landscape painter who follows the tradition of Impressionist painters such as Gustave Courbet and Claude Monet. The landscapes he creates have a poetic and airy feel. Born on August 18, 1928 in Belfort, France, he was taught about nature from a young age by his grandfather, who also cultivated Gantner's drawing ability. He went on to study at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris before moving back to Belfort to pursue his career. Today, Gantner's work can be found in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. He lives and works in Belfort, France.

Johnny Friedlaender (1912-1992) was a leading German/French 20th-century artist, whose works have been exhibited in Germany, France, Netherlands, Italy, Japan and the United States. He has been influential upon other notable artists, who were students in his Paris gallery.
