Juan Carlos Martinez´s work is all about recreating a space for himself that can be looked at in a special way. As scenes representing fragments of reality, his pictures have a distinctive realistic flavour. But when glanced at furtively, even occasionally as a voyeur, the true nature of the pictures are not far from the representation of an instant casually seized. On the contrary, they show instantly searched for backgrounds where the revealing eye of the photographer is forbidden and where keeping away from the public eye is paramount. So Juan Carlos Martinez´s images deal with the vague boundaries of what can be represented, masculine identity and even with the most controversial issue of the boundaries of one´s look in relation to someone else's privacy.
Every item LA Studio offers is checked by our team of 10 craftsmen in our in-house workshop. Special restoration or reupholstery requests can be done. Lighting can be electrified to the required voltage.
Every piece design of LA Studio or new production as they are made with natural materials or made by artisans they may vary in wood color, marble color or wood grain, etc.
