About the Item
Egill Jacobsen was a Danish painter and professor. Jacobsen is known as a mask painter. The inspiration for the mask painting came from a trip to Paris in the 1930s, where Jacobsen met Picasso, and met him and his works made such an impression that it changed Jacobsen's way of painting.
