About the Item

This artwork titled "Diamond Jubilee" by Adrian Jones, printed and published in London in 1901 by C.E. Clifford Co., located at 21 Haymarket. Diamond Jubilee (1897 – 10 July 1923), a Thoroughbred race horse and sire, was bred by his owner, the Prince of Wales. He was foaled in the year of the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria. In a career which lasted from June 1899 until October 1901 he ran sixteen times and won six races. Matted and framed behind glass. Would you like more information about the artist or artwork?
