Elegant hand-pressed print representing some letters of the alphabet with allegorical figure, illustrated through the image of small grotesque angels translating the letters through arts and crafts. In this one we find the letter G representing War (Guerre in french).
These illustrations are reproductions from one of France's most famous printers, Deberny
Peignot, created by the 1923 merger of G. Peignot
Fils and Deberny
Cie. Each illustration in fact shows the Deberny signature.
These prints are available in 6 different representations, to create a bright and joyful composition:
