Set of 3 Biblical Engravings – Vision of Candlesticks, Apostle Jude & Judgment of Angels (1735) This dramatic and theologically rich set of three antique engravings, published in 1735, illustrates apocalyptic and apostolic themes from the Book of Revelation and the Epistle of St. Jude. Executed in detailed copper engraving, each scene presents spiritual visions, divine authority, and prophetic symbolism with powerful visual intensity. The first engraving, from Revelation Chapter I, is titled “The Vision of the Seven Golden Candlesticks.” It shows the Apostle John falling to the ground in awe as he beholds Christ standing among seven candlesticks, with stars in his hand and a sword issuing from his mouth.
