She wears a white gown, cowrie necklace, feather headdress, and has tattooed limbs. 18-year-old granddaughter of Taiohae chief Gattanewa and Captain David Porter’s girlfriend. This print originates from Auguste Wahlen's "Moeurs, Usages et Costumes de tous les Peuples du Monde", (Manners, Customs and Costumes of all the People of the World). Published 1845.
