About the Item
Art LaMay (Born 1938), known for his realistic wildlife and waterfowl prints. The style is realistic wildlife illustration, reminiscent of natural history artists like John James Audubon.
One print likely depicting reddish egrets or similar herons perched atop an old fence. The print is signed both in plate and by hand and numbered part of an edition of 1500. This print is titled "Little Sapphires".
The other print depicts two marsh birds, likely herons or similar wading species, in a natural setting. This print is also signed in plate and by hand and also part of an edition of 1500.
The prints are presented in well done cerused oak frames, double matted and covered with non-glare glass.
