About the Item
This is a lithographic print after the pastel drawing by French illustrator and artist Lucien-Victor Guirand de Scevola (1871 - 1950) known as "Portrait of a Young Lady with Brown Hair." The original 1928 pastel was seen at auction at Christie's, London in 2007 and was exhibited at the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts (per the label to the verso). This piece is numbered #6568, according to the reference information on the back. The reverse side of the piece includes information about the Beaux Arts Collection, the museum where the piece was purchased. The artwork measures 12 and 1/2 inches by 9 and 1/8 wide. The frame is 19 by 16 and 1/2. The piece is in good vintage condition, and it presents beautifully.
