Romantic Narrative Engravings, Literary Scenes, German Taschenbuch 1814 This early 19th-century engraved sheet was published in the 1814 edition of the German literary Taschenbuch Minerva. It presents multiple literary scenes arranged in narrative sequence, reflecting the Romantic interest in storytelling, character, and emotional drama. The engravings are composed with careful attention to movement, costume, and theatrical setting, allowing each vignette to function individually while contributing to the overall narrative flow.
