These prints originate from the work titled 'Die Soldaten der franzosischen Republik und des Kaiserreichs' published by J.J. Weber, 1843. First German translation of 'Histoire de l'empereur Napoleon' (1840). The author describes the history of the French army from 1792 until the fateful year of 1812.
