A rare and complete suite of four original 19th-century etchings by renowned American artist William Goodrich Beal. These works capture the serene coastal and village landscapes of late 1880s Massachusetts, including locales such as Marblehead, Rock Port, Folly Point, and Annisquam. William Goodrich Beal (American, active c. 1867–1925), known for his intricate coastal scenes and participation in the American Painter-Etcher movement. Original etchings on paper, often published as proofs before publisher's addresses, featuring rich, dark impressions. Each piece is typically signed in the plate and often pencil-signed in the lower margin.
