About the Item

This is a set two framed French engraved art prints. The first one is titled “La Conversation Interessante”. It depicts an 18th century group of lover’s young couples sitting in a pastoral landscape and enjoying life. One of the young ladies is in a swing. There is also a girl petting a dog. The second one is titled “Les Plaisirs de La Jeunesse”. It also depicts an 18th century group of young couples playing blind-man bluff in a pastoral landscape. These two engravings are part of a group of four ones that are known by The four amusements of youth. Both of them are in white, grey black colors and have a gilt wood frame decorated with some acanthus leaves scrolls. The glass of both of them are intact.
