Antique print titled 'Vallis Therebinthi'. Old print of the Valley of Terebinthus, below a decorative cartouche with lettered key and surrounded by 2 cherubins. This print originates the very rare travel book 'Hierusalemsche Reyse' by A. Gonsales. The book describes his pilgrimage from Antwerp to Jerusalem and back. Giving a detailed illustrated account of the holy places, Egypt, Syria and indigenous flora and fauna. Artists and Engravers: Published by Michiel Cnobbaert, Antwerpen. Condition: Good, general age-related toning. Few minor defects, please study image carefully. Date: 1673 Overall size: 15 x 19 cm. Image size: 13 x 18 cm.
