Dark, atmospheric and full of motion, this dramatic scene depicts a jumble of nude male figures attempting to capture and tame the famed wild horses of the Camargue district of France. The artist, Leon Kelly, was fascinated with nude figures and horses, and major oil paintings with this theme have sold recently at auction. (Image is 5.25 inches high by 10.25 inches wide.)
