A stunning 19th-century wrought iron coat rack of French origin, originally designed to hold pots or utensils over the fire in old fireplaces or rural kitchens.
This piece features an ingenious adjustable toothed mechanism, allowing the height of the rack to be adjusted according to the intensity of the fire, reflecting the functionality and artisanal refinement of the period.
