About the Item

Decorative and functional wall hanger, called "Andorra", designed by Jordi Vilanova in Barcelona in 1962, made of dyed solid wood and black painted iron. Jordi Vilanova (1925-1988) worked intensively on the creation of modern furniture inspired by the Catalan and Mediterranean tradition, both alone and leading the multidisciplinary group "la Cantonada" (1960-1975), formed by the ceramist Jordi Aguadé, the architect Jordi Bonet, the jeweler Aureli Bisbe and the stained glass and painter Joan Vila-Grau. Dimensions 129x25x14cm. Original condition, very good with the usual wear and tear of time, ready to be used.
