This unique hanging shelf is from the Art Nouveau period from Germany around 1895. The shelf is hung on the wall with two original eyelets. The shelf was made of oak and is hand polished in good condition.
A very beautiful classic German Art Nouveau design. The shelf comes from Darmstadt, Germany, which was a European Art Nouveau centre of its time with the Mathildenhöhe.
