A beautifully handcrafted Arts
Crafts oak wall cabinet, dating from the early 20th century, originally designed to store pipes and smoking accessories. Made of solid oak with a warm, rich patina, this piece exemplifies the honest materials and functional elegance typical of the Arts
Crafts movement.
The cabinet has a glass door with coromandel rods, in front of the original glass panel. It locks with a charming brass mortise lock and comes complete with its original key. Inside, it offers a single shelf, deal for small collectibles or smoking accessories. Below, an open compartment features four notched slots designed specifically to hold pipes.
The cabinet is currently wall-mounted using two robust iron hooks affixed to the back..ensuring secure, stable hanging.
