Imponente Predella Barocca in legno scolpito e dorato, Italia, XVII secolo. La predella fa parte degli arredi ecclesiastici ed è un pannello orizzontale dipinto o scolpito, composto da un unico elemento o da una serie di elementi, posto alla base di una pala d'altare, di un polittico o di una mostra d'altare. La nostra predella è interamente in legno scolpito a motivi fogliacei e volute da cui si dipartono figure fantastiche di putti alati, alcuni dotati di coda di pesce che sorreggono un cartiglio; due grandi teste alate spuntano ai bordi. L'insieme è decorato a lacca nera e oro zecchino a foglia. Di grande impatto decorativo oltre al valore intrinseco dell'epoca. Molto buono stato di conservazione, piccoli segni del tempo, doratura e lacca originali. Misure L cm 225 P cm 20 H cm 19
