About the Item
Solid maple shelving unit that hangs from wall and ready to ship. The vertical frames attach to the wall and have slots that precisely hold the deep shelves in place. Rounded edges add visual lightness and help to showcase the natural lines of the grain. Many areas of interest in the shelves for this piece including filled knots and butterfly joint. These details can be hidden with shelf facing down or visible depending on orientation of shelves. All joinery in this piece was precisely fit so that each shelf fits snuggly but not too tight. The hardware is hidden in the slots and when shelves are in place there is no sign of screws/ anchors. Each shelf can hold as much as 50 pounds. Installation instructions and hardware included.
Made by hand in my one person shop in Los Angeles. I have been designing and making furniture since the early 2000s with the goal of creating simple designs that celebrate the beauty of the materials.
