About the Item
This piece is of the period.
It was made in England between 1730-50.
The 6 drawers are veneered with a beautiful flaming mahogany and the edges are inlaid with satinwood.
The piece is authentic in its form with no restorations.
It bears all the bells and whistles one would associate with a 250 year old piece of furniture.
Its in good condition considering its age.
Its has some minor veneer losses and some time associated dings, but
the shelf is structurally sound.
Provenance is the Parc Monceau in Atlanta, Ga.
