Rug 16-1206, This enchanting antique verdure tapestry beautifully illustrates a Countryside Scene with the depth and richness that was perfected by French artisans of the 19th century. A remarkable display of and a multiplicity of flora, in a wide variety of autumnal tones, completely fill the patina body of this highly romantic landscape. The Pie`ce de re´sistance is the exquisitely "framed" border of various decorative autumnal flora and traditional spiraled oak leaves.
