About the Item

A beautiful vintage framed jacquard loom tapestry. This Renaissance style scene shows a man and woman in elaborate historical clothing on a waterfront terrace, with gondolas and Venice's Grand Canal and a galleon in the background. Velvet frame and Created in France circa 20th Century. Inventory tags on the back, including the number 0296, and another tag with “Everready Services” and the number “70432” In good condition. Gentle wear consistent with age and use on the frame. The tapestry is in very good condition otherwise. This elegant framed tapestry would add historical character to any space. Adding to a cozy and luxurious environment. Measurements: Width: 36" / 91.44 cm Depth: 1.5" / 3.81 cm Height: 33" / 83.82 cm
